Customizing Widget Appearance

Every widget is fully customizable to integrate seamlessly with your website's design. Set colors, choose themes, toggle elements, and add custom CSS for pixel-perfect control.

Color and theme settings

Set your primary color to match your brand — this affects card borders, accent elements, and interactive highlights. Choose Light or Dark theme to match your website's color scheme. The dark theme works beautifully on dark-background websites and reduces visual competition with the testimonial content.

Element toggles

Control exactly what appears on each testimonial card:

• Timestamps — Show or hide when the mention was posted
• Platform icons — Display or remove the source platform badge (Reddit, G2, etc.)
• Creator avatars — Show the original poster's profile photo or hide for cleaner look
• Engagement metrics — Display upvotes, views, or review scores
• Brand watermark — Add your logo as a subtle watermark

Custom CSS (Agency tier)

For pixel-perfect integration, Agency tier users can inject custom CSS that overrides the default widget styles. This allows: custom fonts matching your website, border-radius changes, padding adjustments, animation modifications, and responsive breakpoint overrides.

White-labeling

Agency tier removes "Powered by MentionFox" branding and allows full white-labeling. Create separate brand kits for each client so widgets on different client websites have appropriate branding.
