Step-by-step workflow
- Check your GEO Score — Go to any client's detail page → GEO tab. If no score exists, click "Auto-Generate Monitoring Prompts" to create the queries that AI platforms will be tested with.
- Run a Quick Check (5 credits) — Select "Quick Check" and click "Run AI Check." MentionFox queries ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews with 50+ prompts about your category, then analyzes whether your product is mentioned.
- Review your score — The GEO Score (0-100) breaks down into: Presence (how often you appear), Position (where you're ranked when mentioned), Sentiment (positive/negative characterization), and Accuracy (whether AI describes you correctly).
- Analyze platform breakdown — See which LLMs recommend you and which don't. Maybe ChatGPT recommends you but Gemini doesn't — this tells you where to focus.
- Run a Fix Pack (25 credits) — For actionable improvements, run the Fix Pack tier. This generates: FAQ entries for your website, JSON-LD schemas, an llms.txt file, forum reply drafts, quick wins, and a comparison table.
- Implement quick wins — Start with the Quick Wins list — these are prioritized by impact and effort. Common quick wins: add FAQ schema markup, create an llms.txt file, answer unanswered Quora questions about your category.
- Re-check monthly — GEO visibility changes slowly. Run monthly checks to track progress and identify new opportunities.
