Email Notification Settings
Control exactly which emails you receive from MentionFox. The notification system is designed to keep you informed without overwhelming your inbox.
Notification types
- Scan completions — Get an email when a scan finishes, with a summary of results found (number of mentions, platforms covered, top Foxtrail opportunities). Useful for teams that run scans and check results later.
- New mention alerts — Immediate email when high-priority mentions are found. Configure priority thresholds: only negative mentions, only mentions with high engagement, or all mentions.
- Weekly summary — A digest every Monday with: mentions found this week, top leads enriched, Dealflow activity, and GEO score changes. Perfect for managers who want a high-level view.
- Monthly report — Comprehensive monthly recap with trends, top mentions, and recommendations.
- Product updates — Release notes, new features, and tips. Low frequency (1-2 per month).
Configuring notifications
Go to Settings → Email Preferences. Each notification type has an independent toggle. You can also set per-client notification rules on the Agency tier — get immediate alerts for your biggest client but weekly summaries for smaller accounts.
Reducing noise
If you're getting too many emails: disable scan completion emails (check results in-app instead), set mention alerts to "negative only" or "high engagement only," and keep weekly summaries enabled for a single comprehensive update.
Quick steps
