Exporting Your Data

Export your data at any time for external analysis, reporting, compliance, or backup. MentionFox supports multiple export formats for different use cases.

Export formats

• CSV — Tabular data for Excel, Google Sheets, or data analysis tools. Includes all metadata fields. Best for mentions, contacts, and lead lists.
• PDF — Formatted reports with charts, summaries, and branding. Best for client reports and stakeholder presentations.
• JSON — Structured data for API consumers and developers. Best for integrations and custom dashboards.

What you can export

• Mentions — All mentions or filtered subsets with full metadata (author, platform, sentiment, date, engagement, content)
• Contacts — Your contacts and person profiles with all enrichment data
• Dealflow leads — Pipeline data with status, source, and engagement history
• Client reports — White-label PDF reports with your branding
• GEO reports — AI visibility scores, platform breakdown, and Fix Pack artifacts
• Scan results — Raw scan data including Foxtrail results

How to export

Navigate to the page containing the data you want (Mentions, Contacts, Dealflow, etc.). Apply any filters to narrow the dataset. Click the Export button in the toolbar and choose your format. The file downloads immediately for small datasets; larger exports are emailed to you when ready.

Data portability

MentionFox believes your data belongs to you. You can export everything at any time, even on the Free tier. Exports include all historical data, not just the current billing period.

Quick steps

1. Navigate to the page with the data you want to export (Mentions, Contacts, Dealflow)
2. Apply filters to narrow the dataset if needed
3. Click the Export button in the toolbar
4. Choose format: CSV for analysis, PDF for reports, JSON for integrations
5. Download immediately or wait for email notification on large exports
