Contacts: Saving and Organizing People
When you enrich a person or generate a dossier, they become a saved profile. Contacts lets you organize these people, assign them to clients, create groups, and mark favorites for quick access.
Two places for contacts
MentionFox stores contacts in two locations depending on how you want to use them:
- Your contacts — accessible from People → Contacts in the sidebar. These are people you have enriched or created dossiers for across any context.
- Client contacts — accessible from a client's Fox Den → Contacts tab. When you save a person to a specific client, they appear here. Useful for organizing leads, key people, and decision-makers per client.
Saving a person to contacts
After enriching someone in People Finder, their profile is automatically saved to your contacts. You can also save them to a specific client from any enrichment result, dossier, or evaluation by clicking Save to Client.
Organizing with groups and favorites
Inside Contacts, you can filter by All Contacts, Favorites, or By Client. You can also create Groups to organize people however you like — for example, a group called "My Newsletter" for people you want to stay in touch with, or "Q2 Prospects" for an active campaign.
Contact badges
Each contact shows a badge indicating their enrichment level:
- Enriched — basic enrichment completed (email, LinkedIn, company, title)
- Dossier — full 60-section intelligence dossier has been generated
Tip: Use client contacts to build a Fox Den for each client. When you add competitors and key people to a client's contacts, MentionFox uses them to power Smart Scan Suggestions and OutFoxer reports.
