MentionFox

Candidate Evaluation

Evaluate any person against any role. Paste a job description or describe the position in plain language, and MentionFox produces a fit score, executive summary, tailored interview questions, strengths and concerns analysis, risk assessment, and professional profile — all from public data. The candidate never knows they were evaluated. 15 credits per evaluation, free if insufficient public data is found.

Single evaluation

  1. Go to People → Candidate Eval in the sidebar.
  2. Enter the candidate's name and optionally their company and LinkedIn URL for more accurate results.
  3. Describe the role. You can paste a full job description, upload a JD file, paste a URL to the job posting, or just write a few lines in plain language (e.g. "VP of Sales who can build a team from scratch").
  4. Optionally select a profession to improve accuracy. For Software Engineering, MentionFox checks GitHub. For Medicine, it checks PubMed. Leave blank if unsure.
  5. Click Evaluate Candidate (15 credits).

Batch evaluation

Switch to the Batch Evaluate tab to evaluate multiple candidates for the same role at once. Paste LinkedIn profile URLs (one per line) or name and company pairs. Enter the shared job description, and MentionFox evaluates all candidates in parallel. Check Auto-generate Comparison Report to also produce a Fox Compare report across all candidates (+5 credits per person).

What the evaluation includes

After the evaluation

From the evaluation results, you can export to PDF, DOCX, or CSV, share via link, run a Fox Compare against other candidates, or create a full Dossier for deeper intelligence. On Agency and Enterprise plans, shared evaluation reports are white-label.

Tip: For the most accurate evaluations, include a LinkedIn URL. This gives MentionFox the richest starting point for public data discovery. If evaluating for a technical role, select the profession — MentionFox checks GitHub for engineers and PubMed for medical professionals.
